ATLANTA Five finalists have emerged in the state-mandated review for Virginia’s tourism account, sources said.

Agencies scheduled to deliver oral presentations next week are: White & Baldacci of Herndon, Va.; Barber Martin and Siddall, both in Richmond, Va.; Williams Whittle & Associates of Alexandria, Va.; and the Richmond office of Charleston, W.V.’s Charles Ryan Associates. Work, the incumbent agency in Richmond, is not participating in the review.

According to one source, agencies have been asked to concentrate on promoting one major attraction or historical site and making it benefit the entire state.
