ATLANTA Fry Hammond Barr is producing advertising for three events at the Lowry Park Zoo in the Tampa Bay, Fla., area, the shop said.

Print, direct mail and outdoor ads are appearing for the nonprofit zoo’s annual Zoofari event that is being held Nov. 5. Other work is being developed for the zoo’s monthlong Wild Wonderland in December and the public introduction of an elephant baby that was born at the zoo last month.

All the work is pro bono and includes banners and signs inside the zoo. Local newspapers, including The Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times, are donating space for the print ads. Viacom is donating ad space on several area billboards.

The zoo has used several different area shops in past years to advertise the events. FHB, which is based in Orlando, Fla., volunteered to do the work this year following the opening of its St. Petersburg, Fla., office last year.

“Working with this new client speaks to Fry Hammond Barr’s ever present growth in the Tampa and St. Petersburg areas,” said Pete Barr Jr., the shop’s president. “Since opening our newest office in St. Petersburg, we have seen tremendous growth in the area.”
