Ferguson, Brophy Rise at Adweek

Two executives at VNU Business Publications USA’s Adweek Magazines group have been promoted, effective Nov. 15.

“He is a highly respected team player known for his ability to solve problems and establish relationships with key decision makers,” said Mike Parker, president of Adweek Magazines, to whom Ferguson reports.

Ami Brophy replaces Ferguson as vp, publisher of Adweek. Brophy, who has been with Adweek Magazines since 1994, previously was publisher of Brandweek and ATM. She relo cated to New York in spring 1998, following her stint overseeing Western region sales. “Ami is well-known both for her tenacity and innovative programs she develops to serve cli ents,” said Parker.

Reporting to Brophy are Mike Candullo, who was promoted to New York sales manager, as well as Bob Hamerslough, Randy Doran and Sandra Dent, all New York account managers.

“Coming off of a uniquely difficult year, I have great confidence in the ability and depth of this management group to lead the sales effort in 2002,” said Parker.
