NEW YORK FedEx has tapped lead agency BBDO to handle rebranding duties for the newly acquired Kinko’s chain, a client representative confirmed.

The Omnicom Group shop’s New York office, which handles the FedEx brand, will create ads touting Kinko’s as FedEx Kinko’s Office and Print Centers, the rep said.

That effort will launch in the second half of the year. Memphis, Tenn.-based FedEx will spend $25 million on rebranding support during its fiscal year that begins on June 1, though it is unclear how much of that will be spent on paid advertising.
