With only a month to launch a new product, FCB Chicago opted not to make wholesale changes in its first advertising for vacuum maker Hoover.
“They’ve been having great success as a company, and we didn’t have the information to tell them what they needed to change,” said Toby Smalley, a vice president and management director at FCB. The shop won the $25 million account in November after a review.
A 30-second spot breaking today promotes the North Canton, Ohio, company’s first bagless vacuum and features a jazzier version of Hoover’s longtime jingle, “Nobody does it like you.”
