FCB San Francisco Gets A Boost

Foote, Cone & Belding has added two executives to its management team here from other FCB offices around the country. The move is part of an overhaul to bolster the office’s defense of its $90 million Levi Strauss & Co. account and service the recently won $100 million AT&T Wireless business.
Tim Elliott, executive vice president and worldwide account director at FCB’s New York office, joined FCB San Francisco last week in the new position of managing director. Greg Sieck, senior vice president and group management director in Santa Ana, Calif., comes to San Francisco today in the same post on the AT&T Wireless business. Sieck headed day-to-day account management for the last three years on the shop’s former $250 million Mazda North American Operations account. Both will report to Jack Boland, president and chief executive of the office.
“I am here to help redesign the agency,” said Elliott, who noted that Levi’s decision to hold a review was “a wake-up call.” Sieck said he is “excited to work with the leader brand in this very competitive category.”
