SAN FRANCISCO-Marc Herring, who made his name by projecting Levi’s ads on the sides of buildings, has opened Herring Media Group, a marketing and consulting agency in Sausalito, Calif.
From 1994 to 1996, Herring headed FCB/AdCom, Foote, Cone & Belding’s advanced communications group, based in the agency’s San Francisco office.
At FCB, Herring worked on event marketing assignments for clients such as Gannett Outdoor, Chrysler, MGM, Sony and Levi Strauss & Co. FCB/AdCom also provided marketing and media recommendations to General Motors, MTV, Calvin Klein and professional sports leagues, Herring said.
