Fallon McElligott president and creative director Bill Westbrook said last week he plans to pull back from daily creative duties next year, but has no plans to retire or leave the agency.
Rumors that Westbrook is preparing to step down at the Minneapolis shop have been fueled by reports of talks between the agency and top creative executives in New York and elsewhere.
“I’m always trying to recruit people, just like any good agency,” Westbrook said. “I’d love to have the help.”
Westbrook and Mark Goldstein, president of integrated marketing at Fallon, said the agency is looking both inside and outside the agency for a top executive to help shoulder the creative load.
