Fallon Names Feuerman CD

CHICAGO Fallon has appointed Kerry Feuerman creative director at the Minneapolis agency, replacing Paul Silburn, the shop confirmed.

Feuerman, 54, had most recently been a group creative director on the U.S. Army account at Publicis Groupe sibling shop Leo Burnett in Chicago. Prior to that, he was a vice chairman, partner and group creative director at Interpublic Group’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., where he helped land Saab. At Martin, he was also on the creative team that developed Quiznos well-known “Spongmonkeys” campaign, which depicted offbeat animated characters singing the praises of the chain’s sandwiches.

“Kerry’s work is impressive; he’s a strong strategist and he’s a terrific presenter. Importantly, he’s a great communicator and knows how to make the people around him better,” said agency chairman Pat Fallon, in a statement. “I’ve known Kerry for years and have long wanted him to be part of our team. He’s the complete package and is exactly what we need at Fallon at this time.”

Feuerman will take over the duties previously held by former executive creative director Paul Silburn, who was terminated in January after less than a year in the position.

Feuerman will report to vice chairman Bill Westbrook, who recently rejoined the agency. Westbrook had been Fallon’s president and executive creative director from 1991 to 1997.
