Fallon Excels at O’Toole Awards

NEW YORK Fallon in Minneapolis won the general excellence award for an agency with billings of more than $300 million at the O’Toole Awards on Wednesday.

Two shops tied for the general excellence award for agencies with billings between $30 million and $300 million: Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis and Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami.

For agencies with billings of less than $30 million, Sawyer Riley Compton in Atlanta took top honors. The Vidal Partnership in New York won in the multicultural advertising category. Martin/William in Minneapolis took home the print public service award, while DeVito/Verdi in New York was awarded the broadcast public service award.

The awards were given out by Ron Berger, CEO and chief creative officer at Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners in New York and incoming vice chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, at the 4A’s 85th annual management conference in New Orleans.

The O’Toole Awards, administered by the 4A’s, honors shops for their creative body of work rather than single advertising executions.
