Eyeblaster Opens Bay Area Location

LOS ANGELES Rich media technology company Eyeblaster has opened a San Francisco office, the company said.

Kevin Wilk, formerly an account executive with Microsoft’s MSN Network, will lead the office as business development manager. Wilk, 43, reports to Chip Russo, the Los Angeles-based director of business development for Eyeblaster’s Western region.

Wilk is currently the only employee in the new office, which will work to strengthen relationships with San Francisco-area clients including Aegis Group’s Carat, WPP’s Young & Rubicam and Mediaedge:cia, and Omnicom Group’s Organic, and serve new accounts.

“We’re looking to expand utilization of rich media in online campaigns,” said Wilk, adding that Eyeblaster realized the need for local coverage in San Francisco because of the significant number of agencies creating online campaigns.

This is the third location Eyeblaster has opened within the last six months—earlier office openings were in Chicago and Hamburg, Germany.

Headquartered in New York, Eyeblaster provides online agencies, advertisers and Web publishers with technology to create, deliver and manage media formats through an online platform.
