NEW YORK Kate Everett-Thorp, president of interactive at independent AKQA, has left the shop, the agency confirmed.

Everett-Thorp, 36, said she has not yet decided on her future plans, but expects they will involve an entrepreneurial venture. She was a co-founder of Lot 21, a San Francisco Web shop purchased by Carat Interactive in January 2002.

“You look out there and it’s just dizzying how much is going on,” said Everett-Thorp.

Andrew O’Dell, another co-founder of Lot 21 and senior vice president of business development, will replace Everett-Thorp, directing AKQA’s advertising and media programs.
