Euro RSCG Taps Business Chief

NEW YORK Euro RSCG has appointed Daniel Floyed evp, global business development. He replaces Avi Dan, who parted ways with the agency early last month.

Floyed, who will relocate to New York, has been with the Havas-owned agency since 2005, first as global brand director on the Jaguar account. Since last year he has been managing director of Euro RSCG Fuel U.K. He will retain management of the Jaguar business in addition to his new duties.

“Daniel knows the network well, is genuinely entrepreneurial and understands the speed at which we want to operate,” said global CEO David Jones in a statement. “Over the past two years, he has established himself as one of our stars and I’m delighted that he will be joining me in New York.”

Floyed will be only the second person to hold the job at Euro RSCG. Dan, the first, held it for just 18 months. During that period the agency added clients such as Circuit City and GlaxoSmithKline’s Boniva. It also won Reckitt Benckiser’s $600 million global account consolidation.

Euro RSCG’s international clients include LG Electronics, Airbus, Air France, Danone Group, LVMH Louis Vuitton, Jaguar, MCI, Polaroid and Peugeot Citroen.
