Euro RSCG Circle Adds CD, Promotes 3

NEW YORK Euro RSCG Circle said it has hired Michael Field, formerly associate creative director at AtmosphereBBDO, as a creative director.

In the post, Field, 34, will help integrate clients’ interactive efforts with their overall marketing program. He will also work on a variety of new business projects and the agency’s campaign for the Interactive Advertising Bureau, due to launch later this spring.

He will report to Arthur Ceria, senior creative director at the digital agency, which is a part of Havas’ Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners in New York.

During his three-year tenure at New York-based AtmosphereBBDO, Field helped the BBDO interactive shop land digital duties for AOL, Cingular Wireless and Frito-Lay, among others. He began his career as a copywriter at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Grey, before moving into integrated marketing at CYRK in New York in 1999. While there, he developed integrated promotions for Nascar and partners like Dodge, Visa and Coca-Cola.

Additionally, Euro RSCG Circle, which services clients like Lexmark, Campbell Soup Company and Intel, has promoted three executives.

Former account director Sean McCarthy, 35, has been named vice president, director of client partners. In the new post, he will manage existing client relationships and help integrate their digital marketing with their overall communications.

McCarthy, who had been at Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners since 1998, was instrumental in several interactive campaigns for Volvo Cars of North America, including the digital launch of the S60. He will report to Euro RSCG Circle president Charlie Tarzian.

Todd Sullivan, former account manager, will succeed McCarthy as account director, assuming the duties as senior interactive account executive on Volvo. Sullivan, 27, will report to McCarthy.

And Frederic Bonn has been elevated from senior art director to creative director. He will now oversee the creative on projects for four-year client IBM, as well as new business pitches, and will report to Ceria. With the addition of Field and the promotion of Bonn, there are now five creative directors at Euro RSCG Circle.
