Euro RSCG Chicago Hires CP+B Vet

NEW YORK Euro RSCG Chicago said Rob Tripas is its new director of interactive services.

Tripas, 34, came to the Havas agency following an eight-month stint at Digit. He helped the London-based Web shop to open its New York office. Prior to that, he was at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, where he worked on the Burger King, Mini and Virgin Atlantic Airlines accounts.

At Euro RSCG, Tripas will oversee Web work for the agency’s client roster, which includes Assurant Health, Barill and Citigroup. He reports to Steffen Postaer, Euro RSCG’s chief creative officer.

Before he joined CP+B in 2003, Tripas worked at both AOL and Yahoo, where he developed marketing programs with clients. His work at CP+B included The Sith Sense, a Burger King viral Web site that let users play a game of virtual 20 Questions with Darth Vader.
