NEW YORK ESPN is conducting a review of its media account, now at Wieden + Kennedy, sources said. Estimated billings are $45 million.

The Bristol, Conn.-based cable sport network is said to have drawn up a short list of contenders and the New York office of Wieden, an independent agency, is believed to be defending. Neither could immediately be reached.

Creative duties are also handled by the New York office of Wieden.

Major media spending on ESPN was around $45 million last year and more than $40 million through the first nine months of 2004, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
