Escalate Launches Integrated Campaign

Escalate, an e-business services provider, today unveiled its “W. Schlockman Corporation” integrated campaign. Created by Katsin/Loeb of San Francisco and London-based Deepend, the campaign parodies clueless online business mistakes that presumably can be avoided by enlisting the services of Escalate, which designs, serves and administers e-commerce sites.

The campaign aims to promote awareness of Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Escalate, and consists of a combination of magazine inserts, direct mail, print and a Web site, located at The site, a treasure trove of overly ornate design and “misdirected resources,” according to Brian Fisk, creative director at Deepend, includes e-cards that visitors can send to friends encouraging them to purchase the fictional Schlockman company’s product-packaging peanuts.
