BOSTON Public relations shop Environics said it has appointed Dan Ginsburg svp, general manager of its office in Stamford, Conn.

He reports to Bruce MacLellan, agency president and CEO. The GM position in the shop’s 10-person Stamford office has been vacant for the past two years.

Prior to Porter Novelli, he worked as chief speechwriter for Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Almond.

Independent Environics was founded in 1994 and now has 70 staffers in the U.S. and Canada, with annual fee income of more than $10 million.
