Energy Pacific has narrowed its search for an agency to handle its $3-5 million account to four Southern California shops. They are: Kovel Kresser & Partners, Santa Monica; Bozell Worldwide, Costa Mesa; Campbell-Ewald, Los Angeles; and Capener, Matthews & Walcher, San Diego.
The Los Angeles client has also launched a new campaign for its automatic earthquake shutoff valve. The less than $1 million campaign, created by Lois/EJL in Los Angeles, includes one TV spot and direct mail executions, according to Dirk Lenie, director of seismic safety products for Energy Pacific.
The 30-second spot, which broke last week on network TV in Los Angeles, depicts a man debating what to do during an earthquake: turn off his gas stove or save his fish.
