The wage gap between men and women is nothing new to Venus Williams. But instead of just acknowledging its existence, she’s ready to do something about it.

As part of Women’s History Month and Equal Pay Day on March 24, the tennis star worked with her lifestyle brand, Eleven by Venus Williams, to launch #PrivilegeTax, an initiative focused on bringing awareness to the existing gender pay gap between men and women. Right now, women are paid 81 cents for every $1 men make.
