The Republik has been awarded the ad account of Visiting International Faculty.

Each year VIF, a nonprofit organization based in Chapel Hill, N.C., recruits more than 1,700 overseas instructors to serve in U.S. elementary and secondary schools.

The agency, also in Chapel Hill, will initially focus its efforts on international recruitment. A second phase will encourage U.S. public school superintendents to take advantage of the languages and experiences of teachers typically drawn from 45 countries.

Annual billings are estimated at $1 million.

A print, interactive and direct mail campaign will launch later this year.
