Last week, when I returned to the office after Christmas, I rifled through the piles of holiday cards on my desk. Among the traditional well wishes, one stood out. Stuffed inside a plain-looking card was a plastic sprig of mistletoe. Big red type explained that it was to be used to “Kiss the year goodbye.”
