Edelman Texas Names Director

Falcona to Direct Public Relations in Austin, Dallas, Houston
DALLAS–Edelman Public Relations Worldwide last week appointed Sam Falcona managing director of Edelman Texas. He will be responsible for managing the company’s offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston.
Falcona, 48, assumes his new position Nov. 1.
As an independent Chicago-based consultant, Falcona previously handled crisis preparedness, issues management and employee communications for Motorola, a futures and options exchange, and another unnamed electronics firm.
Prior to that, he served as vice president of corporate communications for GE Capital Auto Financial Services.
