CINCINNATI – U.S. Shoe’s $20-million Easy Spirit division is looking in New York and the Midwest, as it narrowed its review down to six contenders, sources said last week. Those believed to be invited to the dance are Chicago shops Hal Riney & Parnters; Tatham Euro RSCG; and J. Walter Thompson; Minneapolis-based Carmichael Lynch, and New York shops Lotas Minard Patton McIver and Lintas:N.Y. Fallon McElligott cut ties with the shoemaker earlier this fall. Tatham was a contender for the business two years ago before the company gave its business to McElligott Wright Morrison White.
