Citing the poor economy, Earle Palmer Brown is closing its Stamford, Conn., outpost and one of two offices in Philadelphia, resulting in about 15 layoffs. “Obviously, we needed to make moves for cost efficiency,” said Mary Baglivo, president of EPB parent Panoramic Communications, confirming the decision.

The Philadelphia office is consolidating its operations at Manyunk, Pa.-based Odyssey, the interactive firm that Panoramic purchased in March. The agency will continue servicing clients like Dupont, Comcast and Helzberg Diamonds from this office.
