E-Promo for Hershey

Flipside, a network of online gaming and entertainment sites that includes Flipside.com, Uproar.com and iwin.com, has launched an integrated promotion for Hershey’s Reese’s brand of candies.

Beginning this month, 200 millions packages of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, ReesePieces and Reese’s Nutrageous candy bars will feature on-package messages that lead consumers to branded games and sweepstakes on the Flipside Network.

The campaign is expected to run for six months. The agreement calls for Hershey’s Reese’s brand to feature Flipside Network’s URLs on 200 million packages in exchange for 200 million banner impressions across the gaming network, which is owned by Universal Vivendi.

Reese’s branded games, which include Reese’s Table Tennis, Treasure Hunt and Trivia, will be located at the Uproar Fun Center hosted on Uproar.com. In addition to the games, players can enter to win a monthly Reese’s prize, including a trip to the Hershey Chocolate Factory and a year’s supply of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
