DuPont Unit Taps Via

BOSTON Via said it has added the DuPont Professional Products Group to its client roster.

The DuPont division provides services to the global pest management and golf industries, among others. Via will handle advertising, brand strategy, public relations and media planning for the new client.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with a global leader like DuPont,” said John Coleman, CEO and founder of Portland, Maine-based Via. “The [client] has a string of new products that are poised to change the industry.”

Via has been among New England’s most active shops of late, adding assignments from Boston Beer’s Twisted Tea and the New York Academy of Sciences. In addition, the agency recently introduced campaigns for the H.P. Hood dairy and Uno Restaurant Corp. Its TV effort for, which broke during local telecasts of the Super Bowl, targets seventh and eighth graders in an effort to boost Maine’s college graduation rate.

Via maintains outposts in Boston and New York.
