BOSTON Duffy & Shanley said it has retained the Rhode Island Tourism and Economic Development business following a mandatory review of undisclosed shops.

The independent agency in Providence, R.I., first won the business in 1984. Estimated annual spending is $1 million.

“We’re proud of our long-term partnership with R.I. Tourism and [Economic Development] and have never rested on our position as the incumbent. With so many different clients, agendas and initiatives over the years, no one strategy wins this business, ” said Jon Duffy, president of the shop.
