Duffy Design and Interactive this week goes live with two newly redesigned Web sites for BMW, one for its motorcycle division and one introducing the Z8 Roadster.
The motorcycle site, which launches Tuesday, is designed to mirror recent television and print work from New York’s Merkley Newman Harty that positions BMW bikes as the favorite among passionate riders.
While the site has traditional features, such as allowing users to design the specifications for their dream motorcycle, the redesigned site is also built to be a rider’s haven, said Ed Matthie, director of account services with Duffy, a subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Fallon McElligott.
“We tried to make it a one-stop shopping experience for riders with links to weather and mapping sites,” Matthie said.
