Dru to Succeed Greenlees as CEO of TBWA

NEW YORK–Michael Greenlees, president-CEO of TBWA Worldwide since May 1998, is vacating that post to assume a new role at parent Omnicom Group, Omnicom said Thursday.

Succeeding him as CEO is Jean-Marie Dru, president and CEO of TBWA’s international operations. Greenlees’ departure and Dru’s ascension were expected (Adweek Online, March 13).

In his new role, Greenlees will seek to “advance [Omnicom’s] e-business strategy,” Omnicom said in a statement, which did not mention a title. He starts April 1.
