BOSTON Marketing industry veteran Dennis Driscoll has joined relationship marketing company Epsilon as vice president, general manager of its office in Wakefield, Mass.

The company, which is owned by Relizon in Dayton, Ohio, tapped Driscoll for the newly created position to boost its branding, interactive and direct marketing capabilities.

“This company has been a leader in relationship marketing since 1969, and I’m excited to bring it to the next level with the increased offerings,” said Driscoll, whose job duties begin this week.

Reporting to EVP, client services Billy Sewell, Driscoll will be charged with leading account teams, strategic planning and developing customer-oriented marketing programs in the Wakefield office. Epsilon’s client roster includes Verizon, Hilton Hotels, the National Geographic Society and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

With a staff of 750 in offices in Wakefield, Washington, Dallas and St. Louis, Epsilon posted $155 million in revenue last year.

He was also a founder of Thunder House in Cambridge, Mass., which later folded into Interpublic Group’s McCann-Erickson WorldGroup.
