Draftfcb London is boosting its digital resources with the acquisition of Blue Barracuda, which will be folded into the Interpublic agency. The deal increases the size of Draftfcb’s U.K. staff by 50 percent to more than 180 people and makes the office the digital hub for the agency’s European network.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Blue Barracuda handles digital communications for clients like Pizza Hut, Getty Images, Roche Pharmaceuticals and Nectar. The new entity will operate under the name Draftfcb London, "Fueled by Blue Barracuda."
