DraftWorldwide and Cramer-Krasselt have extended their brands into promotional premiums and design, respectively.

Chicago-based DraftWorldwide launched Premium Surge to handle the design and manufacture of promotional premiums. The new unit takes on 14 executives from Simon Marketing, which folded following a McDonald’s contest scandal. Draft works for Burger King.

Heading Premium Surge are Fred Jasinski and Abdiel Estrella.

Separately, Cramer-Krasselt has created ckDesign, which will be headed by Frances “Frank” Ullenberg. Previously, Ullenberg was at DG Worldwide in New York; she will work in C-K’s Milwaukee office.
