DETROIT Doner is closing its Baltimore office and laying off an undetermined number of the 75 employees there, the agency said on Tuesday. The outpost will close on August 31.

The direct marketing operations currently handled out of the outpost will be shifted to the shop’s Southfield, Mich., headquarters, said Alan Kalter, agency chairman and CEO. He said having all direct under one roof will benefit clients. Some of the employees will be offered positions in other Doner offices, he said.
