BOSTON Domino’s Pizza has sent a request for proposals to eight agencies in its quest for a new public relations firm.

The incumbent, independent Vorhaus & Co., resigned the account last week after founder Robbie Vorhaus shuttered his agency to become a full-time consultant. The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based client is looking for a shop either in Chicago or New York.

The business is worth about $500,000, said sources.

The client could not be reached for comment by press time.
