Dollar Rent A Car has moved the national media portion of its $15-20 million account to Barkley Evergreen & Partners.
The Kansas City, Mo., shop, which won creative duties on the account earlier this year, landed the media without a review.
However, agency officials noted the shop had presented “speculative media thinking for the year 2000” to Dollar executives during planning sessions.
Planning and buying had been handled by PentaCom in Troy, Mich., which is the media agency for former Dollar parent DaimlerChrysler.
