Disney has released its global Christmas ad—a touching, 3-minute animated short film that tells the story of the bond between a grandmother and her granddaughter, along with the traditions that connect them through the years.
The spot, developed in house and animated by Flux, is titled “From Our Family to Yours” and has been launched across 26 countries in North America, EMEA, New Zealand, Australia and some parts of Asia.
It shows a grandmother as a child being given a Mickey Mouse toy by her father in 1940 and regifting it to her own granddaughter many years later.
The aging grandmother appears nostalgic and reflective as she thinks back to her own childhood and embraces the toy—a connection to her past.
