Dieste Pairs Pepsi, Doritos as 'The Power of One'

Dieste & Partners has created a television commercial featuring the first major co-branding effort between Pepsi and Frito-Lay.

Using “The power of one” as a tagline, the Spanish-language spot unites Puerto Rican soap opera star Chayanne with actress and singer Lucero of Mexico. Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the upbeat tribute to Pepsi and Doritos features salsa music and flashy street dancing.

“We’re real excited about being able to put these two hot Latino stars together,” said Charlee Taylor-Hines, director of urban and ethnic marketing for Pepsi.
