It’s summer, so that means it must be time for J. Walter Thompson’s annual summer volunteer day. On June 24, JWT staff members spent the day mulching, cooking and painting for organizations throughout Chicago.
Roughly one-third of the agency participated in a number of activities, including passing out food to needy families at the Lincoln-Belmont Food Pantry and making and serving dinner to the patrons of Inspiration Cafe.
Another group of agency staffers chose to place mulch around trees at one of the beaches along Lake Michigan.
‘Volunteering strengthens our commitment to the community while providing an opportunity for our staff to find their own rewards in giving back and getting to know each other better,’ said J.
