NEW YORK The Directors Guild of America has named five nominees for its award for outstanding directorial achievement in commercials for 2003.
First-time nominees include Lance Acord of Park Pictures in New York, David Fincher of Anonymous Content in Los Angeles and Errol Morris of @radical.media in New York. The other two nominees are Noam Murro of Biscuit Filmworks in Santa Monica, Calif., who was also nominated last year, and Joe Pytka of Pytka in Venice, Calif.
