Dexter Shoe Co. has decided to conduct a review for its ad account without the help of an outside consultant.
“We’re very hands-on as a company,” said vice president of advertising Susan Haviland.
A list of contenders has been whittled down to between 8 and 10 semifinalists. “We’re hoping by the end of November to either have a list of finalists or someone we’ve decided to move forward with,” Haviland said.
The Dexter, Maine-based company placed its advertising account in review last month, after 11 years with Pagano Schenck & Kay.
