NEW YORK Jay Devine, former evp and general manager of public relations at Tierney Communications in Philadelphia, opened crosstown agency Devine & Powers with partner Vince Powers last week.
Devine left his post at Tierney on June 20, while Powers resigned the presidency of Boyd Tamney Cross Public Relations on June 8. The duo hoisted their banner last Monday, Devine said.
“Tierney has been in transition throughout the course of the various holding companies, first True North and then IPG,” Devine said.
