NEW YORK Star/Shipley said it has won advertising chores for the Delaware Lottery following a mandated competition against incumbent RT&E Integrated Communications and Aloysius Butler and Clark.

All three agencies pursued the account from their offices in Wilmington, Del.

The lottery spends about $500,000 annually in measured media, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

The contract begins Feb. 1 and runs for three years, with three single-year renewal options.

Star/Shipley is tasked with crafting advertising and public relations initiatives, as well as promotions, point-of-sale and interactive executions on the client’s behalf.
