Del Taco Selects Doner

BOSTON Del Taco said it has hired independent Doner as lead creative agency on its ad account. The shop’s office in Newport Beach, Calif., is tasked with developing creative for the client’s TV and radio campaigns, as well as spoint-of-purchase materials.

There wasn’t an official review, just some talks with agencies and a decision to make a change, a client representative said.

Del Taco operates 500 restaurants in 16 states.It spent $12 million in traditional measured media last year, down from almost $20 million the year before, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
