Deininger Joins BBK to Direct Healthcare Media

BOSTOn—BBK has named Bob Deininger director of media.

In the newly created role, Dei-ninger will oversee media planning for the Newton, Mass., agency’s healthcare clients.

Reporting to director of account strategy Karen Barzilay, Deininger is coordinating the shop’s planning efforts with Blitz Media in South Natick, Mass., which handles buying.

“A key goal is to expand BBK’s direct-mail capabilities. Planning which mailing lists to use,” Deininger said, “is just as important in reaching a campaign’s target audience as deciding which print, broadcast or online media to use.”

Deininger has held posts at Holland Mark, which closed last fall, Arnold and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, all in Boston.
