NEW YORK Rob DeFlorio, one of the co-founders of Mother New York, is leaving the agency to pursue personal interests.

“I feel the time is right to move out and move on,” said DeFlorio, in a statement. “I’ve begun the process of unplugging from the day-to-day world of business and marketing in order to focus all my energy on my personal life. It’s something I really want to do.”

DeFlorio helped launch Mother New York in December 2003 along with strategist Andrew Deitchman and creative directors Paul Malmstrom and Linus Karlsson.
