CHICAGO — Novartis Consumer Health has shifted consumer advertising duties for its Triaminic and TheraFlu over-the-counter cold remedies to DDB Chicago’s healthcare unit, DDB Corbett, the agency said. Billings were estimated by the agency at $20 million.

Consumer work for the brands was previously handled by Arnold McGrath in New York. DDB Corbett picked up the professional assignments for TheraFlu and Triaminic earlier this year.

DDB Corbett last September gained its first foothold with the client, an assignment for the Basel, Switzerland’s company’s Denavir and TransDermScop brands.
