DDB Adds Work in Europe From Dell

NEW YORK DDB Worldwide has won pan-European creative chores for Dell Computer, a client representative confirmed. The estimated budget is $70-90 million.

DDB’s London office will oversee the assignment, which includes a mix of work that had been with various shops as well as some new initiatives, the rep said.

This marks an expansion of the relationship between the client and the Omnicom Group shop, which already handles Dell’s domestic account.

In April, Dell officials told investors that sluggish growth in the U.S. technology market had prompted the company to focus abroad, particularly in Europe and Asia.

The European work was awarded to DDB following a review; other contenders were undisclosed.
