Dallas IABC, N.O. Ad Club Name Officers

DALLAS The Dallas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Advertising Club of New Orleans have elected their 2005 boards of directors, the organizations said.

The Dallas IABC has installed Don Klausmeyer as president. Klausmeyer, who previously served as president elect, led the selection committee for the 2005 board of directors. He is a public communications advisor for TXU in Dallas. Klausmeyer replaces immediate past president Pat Chamberlain of BeautiControl.

Roy Miller has been appointed president elect. In his new role, Miller will be responsible for chapter leadership development and advance planning for 2006 programs and membership activities. Miller is vice president of public relations firm The TransSynergy Group in Dallas.

Other Dallas IABC board members include Steve Parrino, director of finance; Richard Buse, secretary; Jerry Stevenson, director of programs; Robin Goodpaster, director of membership; Jodi Hodak, director of communications; Carrie Mamantov, director of Web services and technology; Marilyn Mathis, director of chapter services; and Diana Broadwater and Jannie Luong, co-directors, Bronze Quill.

The Advertising Club of New Orleans has also installed its 2005 board members and chairpersons. Mary Lynn Cahill of MLC Promotions and Cheryl Lemoine of Martin Wine Cellar have been named co-president of communications and co-president of fundraising, respectively.

Additional board members include Alan Watts, Leslie Owens, Michelle Jennings, Ann Asprodites, Debra Woodfork, Carol Gniady, Patti Johnson, Rick Montgomery, Lynn Long, Candace Burns, Cindy Bower, Jennifer Badeaux, Jeff Zehnder, Melissa Hughes, Lynne Bischof and Kathryn Hashimoto.
