DAL to Roast DDB's Reinhard

DALLAS Departing from its previous practice of roasting regional luminaries, the Dallas Advertising League will put DDB Worldwide chairman Keith Reinhard on the hot seat at the annual event June 9, the DAL said.

Reinhard, who played a key role in the 1986 merger of Doyle Dane Bernbach, Needham Harper and BBDO to form Omnicom, is known for taglines such as McDonald’s “You deserve a break today” and State Farm Insurance’s “Like a good neighbor.”

The speakers at the roast will include Reinhard’s son, Matt Reinhard, co-executive creative director of Foote Cone & Belding in San Francisco.
